Encrypting, Engraving, and Decrypting Instructions
Tools Needed

Steps
Step 1a: Prepare for Etching
Record your original seed phrase in the instruction booklet as shown.
Note: Your seed phrase may be shorter than all 24 words. That’s ok. Just record as many words as is included in your unique seed phrase.
You are now ready to encode!
Move to Step 1b.

Step 1b: Alphabetical Encoding
Using the chart from Step 1a and your Cipher Plate, replace the letters in each word as indicated in the Encode section of the Cipher Plate.
Note: It is recommended you use a pencil so you can easily correct mistakes. Also, using capital letters is easiest.
You are now ready to engrave!
Move to Step 2.

Step 2: Etching
Using the included scriber, carefully copy the encoded chart from Step 1b onto the metal Seed Phrase Plate.
Note: Go slow and use firm pressure to make a clear mark. You may need to go over the letters more than once.
Congrats! Your seed plate is now engraved! Move to Step 3 to finish.

Step 3: Destroy Paper Charts
Erase, shred, burn, or otherwise destroy the paper charts from Step 1 from the Instruction Booklet.
Note: If you choose not to destroy the paper charts, be sure to store them securely, apart from your metal plates.
Now you are ready to secure your metal plates. Continue to Step 4.

Step 4: Safe Storage
It is recommended to store the metal Cipher Plate and metal Seed Phrase Plate in separate secure locations, such as inside a personal safe or safety deposit box, protected from unauthorized access or potential environmental hazards.
Your seed phrase is now safely encrypted and secured, minimizing any risk of unauthorized access.
When you want to decode your seed phrase, move to Step 5.

Step 5: Decryption
First retrieve your metal plates from their secure locations.
Then use the Decode section of the Cipher Plate to replace the letters from the encrypted words on the metal Seed Phrase Plate and record the deciphered words into the Instruction Booklet.
Note: This is simply the reverse of the encoding procedure.
Congrats! You have uncovered your original seed phrase.
